New exercise classes launched in Ipswich and Felixstowe
August 8th, 2012If you’ve been inspired by the success of British athletes this summer and would like to take the first steps to improving your fitness, Live Well Suffolk has announced that a range of new exercise courses will be starting in Ipswich and Felixstowe in September.
There are six-week free courses in Spinning, Dance Workout, Zumba for beginners or Yoga. Each course is free of charge and will combine fun exercise sessions with practical workshops about how to improve your general health.
Additionally, the healthy lifestyles service will also be offering a new practical ‘Cook and Eat’ course to teach people useful tips on how to cook healthy meals on a budget. Each class offers tips and advice including understanding information on food packaging and how to include your 5 fruit and vegetables a day.
Richard Crick, Senior Community Health Coach for Live Well Suffolk, said: “The success of our athletes over the past few weeks has inspired many people to become more active and our free courses are a great way to try something new, have some fun and learn some easy practical tips for how to live a healthier lifestyle.”
