Free Aqua Zumba fitness class to start in Bury St Edmunds
May 19th, 2014People living in Bury St Edmunds who are looking to shape up for summer will be able to attend a free ‘Aqua Zumba’ fitness course which is starting in the town next month.
The Aqua Zumba sessions will start on Tuesday 3rd June from 11.00am-12.30pm, at Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre on Beetons Way. The six week course is completely free for people to join and will take place every Tuesday morning until 8th July.
The course will be led by instructor Alison Horsepole, who teaches both Zumba and Aqua Zumba. She said: “Aqua Zumba is just like a pool party and it gives a new meaning to the phrase ‘invigorating workout’. It is great fun – you’ll be splashing, stretching, twisting and laughing along to upbeat music.
“The class combines the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua aerobic disciplines. Putting the two together creates a fun water-based workout that delivers great cardio-conditioning and body-toning results.”
Our Community Health Coaches will also be at the sessions and will be working with participants to develop tailored personal health plans to help them achieve their personal goals, whether it’s losing weight, eating healthier or staying active.
Advance booking for the Aqua Zumba class is essential as there is limited availability. For more information or to reserve your place, call Live Well Suffolk on 01473 229292. Eligibility criteria may also be applicable.
