January 2nd, 2015Ipswich residents who are looking to get fit in 2015 will be able to take advantage of a free physical activity course which is starting in the town next week.
Our Legs, Bums & Tums class will start on Wednesday 7th January from 5.30pm-7.00pm at Maidenhall Sports Centre. The six week course is completely free to join and will run until Wednesday 11th February.
The Legs, Bums & Tums class will consist of fun yet simple exercises to tone up and burn fat from common problems areas such as your tummy, thighs, hips and bottom. The course will be led by local instructor, Ashden Solomon.
Catherine Arter, one of our Community Health Coaches based in Ipswich, will also be on hand to develop personal health plans for each of the participants. She said: “Whether it’s losing weight, being more active or eating healthier, I will work with each individual to help them develop a personal goal that’s achievable and attainable.
“For the first 30 minutes of each weekly session we will look at the small changes everyone can make to their everyday habits to achieve their goal. The Legs, Bums & Tums fitness element will take place in the last hour and promises to be a fun and energetic cardio workout. Not only will it help to increase your fitness levels, it will also help to burn off some of the excess calories consumed during the festive period!”
