New step aerobics course launched for Sudbury

February 5th, 2013

We have a new step aerobics class that will start in Sudbury on the 12th February, at The Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard.

The free six-week course will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7.45pm-9pm, and is a moderate to high intensity workout set to music. Each class will combine a fun exercise session with practical workshops about how to improve your general health.

Step aerobics was originally created in 1989 and combines simple exercise moves with a raised platform. Step aerobics has become an increasingly popular workout class as it is a great way to tone up, manage your weight and strengthen your muscles.

Oliver Langford, Senior Community Health Coach for Live Well Suffolk, said: “Our step aerobics courses have proved popular in the past and it’s been great to see so many people wanting to learn how they can incorporate a healthier lifestyle. Our free courses are a great way to learn how to make small practical changes which can have a big impact on your overall health.”

The step aerobics course is expected to be popular and advance booking is required.

To register a place on any of the course, phone 01473 229292 or email tasters@livewellsuffolk.org.uk. Some eligibility criteria will be applied.
