New sports classes highlight of latest Ipswich-based activities
May 21st, 2013If you are looking to improve your fitness, we have two new sports classes joining our growing range of physical activities which will start in Ipswich and Felixstowe next month.
“Easy Cricket” and “Get back into…Netball” are just two of the latest physical activity sessions available. The free six week courses are a new way to encourage local people to get involved with a sporting activity they may have previously enjoyed. Each session has been designed to suit all fitness levels and will combine fun activities with practical workshops to help participants improve their overall health and fitness.
For those who prefer individual activities, we also have other alternatives available including popular choices such as Zumba, Legs Bums & Tums, and Circuit Training. There are also new practical ‘Cook and Eat’ classes available to teach people useful tips on how to cook healthy meals on a budget.
Dan Ford, one of our Community Health Coaches , said: “We are really looking forward to launching the new ‘easy cricket’ and ‘get back into netball’ classes. So many people tell us that they enjoyed playing these sports when they were at school, but feel that they do not want to play competitively. We want to remind people of how fun these sports can be, and how easy it can be to improve your general fitness in a relaxed and sociable setting.”
The courses are expected to be popular and advance booking is required.
