Quit Smoking

Fed up with smoking? Want a healthier future and to save lots of money? Then we can help you kick the habit for good.

Last year we helped 50% of our clients quit, so we’re very confident that, with our help, you’ll succeed – in fact, you’re four times more likely to quit with our help than going it alone.

Our trained advisors will support you through the hardest part of quitting with tips, advice and nicotine products or other medication on prescription. With locations across Suffolk, we’ll be able to help at a time and place convenient to you. And there’s nothing to pay!

Adult weight loss

Got the middle age spread? Fed up with fad diets? Let us show you how to lose weight for good.

The chances of successfully losing weight and changing unhealthy ways forever are greatly increased with us working alongside you.

Additionally, we provide an adult weight management service called Fit Fans. This is a 12 week community based programme and is gender specific reflecting the differing needs and preferences of men and women. The scheme promotes healthy eating and an increase in physical activity to facilitate weight loss.

Our advisors have loads of ideas and inspiration to ensure you’ll succeed in cutting down your weight. They’ll listen, understand your individual situation and advise on what things are most likely to work. And it’s all for free.

Child weight loss

Concerned about your child’s weight? Do they get depressed about their size? We can help make a real difference and set them up for life.

Our specialist child advisors (all CRB checked) have loads of experience in working with kids and know the best ways to break their bad habits.

Most programmes are run in groups, but there is the choice of one-to-one sessions if you prefer. Our Alive n Kicking programme is aimed at anyone aged 2 – 18 and is available county-wide. It includes nutrition advice for the family and fun sociable activities for the kids.

Another great way for them to lose weight is to come along to one of our fun activity programmes where they’ll meet lots of other kids. Either way, we’ll set them on the right course to a healthier and more enjoyable life. And it won’t cost you a penny!

Health walks

‘Stepping out in Suffolk’ is a programme of Health Walks offered across the County. Improve your health by joining us on one of our walks!

Health walks are free and for everyone but especially those who may be recovering from illness or need to improve their exercise levels.

Walks can last for half to one and a half hours and they are informal and sociable. You walk with trained leaders and at your own pace and sensible footwear is recommended.

Children are very welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. Buggys and wheelchairs are welcome on certain walks. Well behaved dogs are also welcome on short leads.
